Dr. Gibson is unlike any eye doctor most patients have ever encountered. She schedules ample time with each of her patients to go over any questions and concerns they may have about their vision. Perhaps what makes her so diligent about making sure that her patients are educated about their vision is the fact that her own father was diagnosed with a hereditary eye disease that slowly took his vision. That experience was life-changing to Dr. Gibson. She was inspired by the eye doctors who worked with her father and recalls thinking that if she could make one person see better, then her life would be fulfilled. Those thoughts became a reality as she graduated with honors from the University of Indiana School of Optometry and moved back to Western Kentucky to begin serving patients in this area.

Dr. Jordan Davis is an associate optometrist at The Eye Center of Paducah since summer 2018. To start her journey in becoming an optometrist, Dr. Davis graduated from Ballard Memorial High School in May 2010 as a class valedictorian. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Murray State University, with double minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. She completed her undergraduate studies with magna cum laude honors in December 2013. Upon finishing up at Murray State University, Dr. Davis then obtained her Doctorate of Optometry with honors at Indiana University in May 2018. After eight years away, Dr. Davis is happy to be close to home again serving Paducah and the surrounding areas. She specializes in primary care optometry, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses such as rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses. In her spare time, Dr. Davis likes to travel, watch St. Louis baseball, golf, snuggle her Boston Terrier named Gibbs, and spend time with her family and friends.
